The Functions of the Nephron of Kidney

The filtrate then flows down the sliding arm and then back up. On the way, there is a big bend called Henle’s loop. It is located in the medulla of the kidney. As it reaches the top again, the hydrogen ions (waste) flow into the tube and down the collection channel.
