CO2 for ‘Free’

We’ve all heard that there is no such thing as a ‘free lunch’; well, the procedure described in this article may be the closest you can get to one. Most of us already know the benefits of CO2 enrichment for photosynthesis. To maximize the potential of indoor and greenhouse growing, CO2 is supplemented to maintain an approximate level of 1500 ppm, which may require frequent trips to the industrial gas supplier and/or extensive use of propane or natural gas and associated costs. Ironically, many indoor agricultural producers vent CO2 out from home heaters and hot water heaters, while simultaneously venting or generating CO2 for an indoor grow room or greenhouse.

Propane and natural gas burn clean enough that small ventless gas appliances are approved for indoor use. All of these gas burning devices use oxygen (in the air) to burn the gas, resulting in the byproducts of CO2, H20 (moisture) and heat (Reusch). Exhaust gases from gas appliances can provide 3 essential conditions for maximum growth: humidity, temperature and CO2 level. Most of the heat from the exhaust gases is removed by the heat exchanger of the furnace or water heater; resulting in a slightly warm exhaust. Photosynthesis for many plants, including marijuana, in a CO2-enriched environment is most efficient around 85 degrees F.

If the exhaust gas from a large gas heater is diverted into the growing area, there is a strong possibility that all the oxygen will be burned or displaced, as well as CO (carbon monoxide build-up), resulting in toxic air conditions. With the right equipment, CO2 from a gas furnace and/or water heater exhaust can safely be used to supplement the CO2 used in your grow room. This will save time and money, make plants grow well, reduce fuel consumption and dramatically reduce the amount of greenhouse gases released into the environment. By using this technique, you will help prevent global warming while optimizing growing conditions. The key to doing this safely and effectively is to divert enough exhaust from your gas appliance into the grow area to maintain a CO2 level of 1500 ppm, with the extra exhaust directed outside.

“The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) have set workplace safety standards of 5,000 ppm,” and very high levels of CO2 can cause asphyxiation that is undetectable when blood O2 replace CO2 (Minnesota Department of Health). Keep a CO (carbon monoxide) detector in the grow room for safety in case of equipment failure! Do not attempt this project if you are using heat from oil or kerosene, which do not burn cleanly!

The trick to harnessing this source of unused CO2 from gas furnaces and water heaters is power dampers. The energy damper is a part of the channel with a flap that opens and closes the flow through the channel, and is powered by electricity. Some chokes close with current applied and others are designed to open. Most attenuators are low voltage so a properly sized transformer must be connected to the attenuator; it has a 110 volt damper. Quality flaps will seal much better than cheap flaps. This simple addition to a CO2 enrichment system will pay for itself many times over (especially with today’s fuel prices) and reduce home or business emissions into the environment, making your project “greener”. It is necessary to have a CO2 level monitor connected to the controller (sequencer) to tell the dampers (by applying power) when CO2 is needed and when the threshold is reached. You can still use your controller to run your CO2 generator and/or regulator.

Locate the exhaust pipe of your gas furnace or hot water heater. These devices should already be properly vented. Turn off your gas appliance while you work on this. Cut off (or open) a section of duct where it will be closest, with the fewest bends, to plug in and route the new duct into the growing area. A few of the items needed can be found at most heating supply stores. If you can’t find the proper dampers for the size and type of duct you have, you may need to convert the duct to a size or type that you can find dampers for. Using a “Y” connector and a power choke that closes when current is applied, connect in line with the duct going out. For smooth flow, install the “Y” so that the exhaust gas comes to the ‘bottom’ of the “Y” section of the duct. Now take the damper that opens when power is applied, attach it to the other “Y” opening. Run a duct from this ‘power open’ choke into the growth area above the plants, since CO2 is heavier than air; but you probably already know this. Now all you have to do is either connect the chokes together or use a multi-socket adapter and plug them into your CO2 sequencer along with your CO2 generator or CO2 tank regulator using the 3-outlet adapter.

If the ducts are far from the exterior wall or roof, there may be built-in duct supplemental fans. If the grow room does not have flow through the new duct, an additional fan in the duct line may be required, especially if one is used on the original duct that blows outward past the new “Y” section from the unit. If you add a ducted auxiliary fan, wire it or turn it on together with the dampers, they will then turn on and off together. Many furnaces will have a proper exhaust fan so an additional ducted fan will not be necessary. Watch out for the auxiliary fans (if any) on the source duct between the “Y” joint and the outside, there is a possibility that they could overheat if they run with the flap to the outside closed.

Once this is set, when your CO2 sequencer determines it is time to add CO2 to the room and turns on the power, the exhaust damper to the outside will close and the grow room damper will open; resulting in the diversion of exhaust gases from the furnace or hot water heater into the grow room. A CO2 generator or exhaust regulator will also work, this way it is guaranteed that the room always has the right amount of CO2 even if the stove or boiler is not currently in use. When the appropriate level is reached and the sequencer is turned off, the damper leading into the grow room will close and the damper in the duct leading out will reopen. All exhaust gases at this point will go outside until the room needs more CO2.

To be safe, ensure that all circuits and/or outlets are rated at no more than 80% of their rated wattage and are properly wired. Also, secure the channel well. Adhesive tape marked 200°F sticks better than regular tape (for connecting duct sections).

If you’re diverting hot water heater exhaust for this CO2 enrichment add-on, you can take extra advantage of this setup by adjusting the times for showering, dishwashing, and laundry, while the lights are on (the times when the enrichment equipment works the most), and during the light cycle in general.

Using this system, growers will find that they make fewer trips to fill up their propane or CO2 tanks and spend less money while keeping grow room levels the same.

This addition to the enrichment system will also reduce the amount of CO2 released into the environment from the home or business premises. The CO2 diverted into the room is used by plants during photosynthesis, which further reduces the CO2 gas device’s release into the environment. Using this system, the room will reach the desired CO2 level faster and will fluctuate less, further promoting growth.

This page, located on the Minnesota Department of Health website, is a good resource for showing the adverse health effects that high levels of C02 will cause. As far as I can tell, this place is run by the state government. The information on this page is consistent with other sources that also describe the adverse health effects of too much CO2 in the air. This page, although short, clearly presents the numbers and dangers, agreed upon by government scientists, associated with high CO2 levels. Statement: “At very high levels, 30,000 ppm and above, CO2 can cause suffocation because it replaces the oxygen in our blood.” clearly shows the potentially fatal condition that elevated CO2 levels can cause.

This page clearly describes the physical process of burning propane. After reviewing a dozen propane and natural gas combustion sources, I found this site to have the most accurate, in-depth, yet understandable descriptions of possible propane combustion reactions. Although the article does not cite references for the information it contains, the information is consistent with the Common Knowledge and other reference materials and is found on the Michigan State University Department of Chemistry website. By presenting the structural formulas for the reactions mentioned along with a clear rationale showing why the reactions may differ, this resource will allow the reader of my essay to understand what products can be formed from the combustion of propane. This article shows how CO2 and H2O are direct products of propane combustion when sufficient O2 is present.

In Regards To Cash Flow A Firm Should Ideally Have Top 2 Reasons For Business Loan Denials

You are searching about In Regards To Cash Flow A Firm Should Ideally Have, today we will share with you article about In Regards To Cash Flow A Firm Should Ideally Have was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Top 2 Reasons For Business Loan Denials

In the past five years, there has been an increase in commercial sources of financing in the US. In particular, there has been a proliferation in the market of alternative loans that meet the needs of business owners who do not have the credit (personal or business) or operational ability to get approved for traditional bank financing. Although useful in the short term, many of these alternative sources of lending “trap” company owners into a loan structure with high payouts and abnormally high interest rates. These two factors often cause a company more damage than expected by limiting and sometimes significantly reducing free cash flow. Traditional bank financing is still the best option for business owners because of the low cost of money and flexibility to alleviate repayment and disbursement problems. In this article, we’ll focus on the top 2 reasons for business loan rejections to provide business owners with information to craft and present business loan proposals that are concise, relevant, and factual.

(1) Unresolved personal and business credit profile (high credit risk)

Most business owners and individuals do not have a good understanding of their credit profiles. Although banks have become more protected in their credit risk assessment systems, the foundation remains the credit report for consumers and businesses. It is not enough to just know your credit profile, you must also have valid explanations for any reported problems. Ideally, you want to resolve as many of these issues as possible before submitting your business loan proposal.

Your personal and business credit profile also represents the lender’s repayment pattern and is a key component of business loan approval. If credit reports show a pattern of non-payment or mostly non-payment as agreed, then the chances of being denied a business loan are quite high. One way to improve your repayment pattern is to either close unused or unnecessary lines of credit or reduce existing credit amounts such as credit cards or open lines of credit where applicable.

(2) Without a business plan, there is no evidence (high management risk)

Lenders like to see that business owners are organized and focused on their business, and a great way to show that is by presenting a solid business plan. This plan should highlight your business objectives in the Executive Summary, especially those involving the proposed loan. Often loan proposals consist of a phone call or a short conversation with the lender without any written content. Always give the lender a brief description, either disclosing the loan opportunity or a business plan that includes an explanation of how the loan funds will be used and repaid.

Also, describe the opportunity to obtain funding as a means to an end. In the past, I’ve experienced entrepreneurs offering only plans that disclosed how and why financing was needed, without going into the disclosure of anything else. To increase your chances of getting approved, give the banker a full picture of the short-term and long-term impact of the financing.

In Order To Calculate The Current Flowing In A Circuit How to Determine The Correct Size Fuse

You are searching about In Order To Calculate The Current Flowing In A Circuit, today we will share with you article about In Order To Calculate The Current Flowing In A Circuit was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic In Order To Calculate The Current Flowing In A Circuit is useful to you.

How to Determine The Correct Size Fuse

In the last 5 years, electrical fires have resulted in the loss of property worth billions of US dollars. With many high rise buildings popping up in various cities across this country, it becomes extremely important to have electricians install properly sized fuses in your home to reduce the chances of an electrical fire.

A fuse is a useful safety device that contains a conductive element that allows current to flow through it under normal conditions. If the fuse detects a current overflow that is greater than the fuse’s rating, the element melts, stopping the flow of current.

Using the right size fuse is important if you want to make your home safe in the event of an overload or short circuit. While a fuse that is too small will disrupt a normal power supply, using a fuse that is too large will not be able to stop the excessive current generated during an overload.

Tips for choosing the correct size fuse

According to NEC guidelines, before you hire an electrician to install a fuse, you must ask him to determine the amperage of the circuit. The amperage of the fuse should be slightly higher than the amperage of the circuit. You can calculate amperage by finding the total load or power of the circuit and dividing by the voltage being supplied.

For example, 110 volts AC is supplied to all American households. If the circuit uses 1200 watts, then the amount of current flowing through the circuit at any time will be 1200/110 = 10.9 amps. In such a scenario, it is necessary to use a 15 A fuse in the circuit.

Professional electricians suggest that you take extra care in choosing the right size fuse for circuits that are connected to induction motors or coils of wire. This is because such circuits experience a higher current surge when the power is turned on and would consume less power while the device is operating. In this case, you need to buy a specially designed induction motor fuse or a fuse that comes with a time delay.

When choosing a fuse, you should inform yourself about the type of voltage it would protect. It is possible to purchase a different fuse to protect the AC or DC circuit, or a double fuse can be purchased to handle both types of power supply.

If you cannot determine the correct fuse size yourself, seek the help of experienced electricians in your city to find the appropriate fuse.

If You Love A Flower Don T Pick It Up Great Conversation Tips for a First Date

You are searching about If You Love A Flower Don T Pick It Up, today we will share with you article about If You Love A Flower Don T Pick It Up was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic If You Love A Flower Don T Pick It Up is useful to you.

Great Conversation Tips for a First Date

So you hung around her college for days with flowers in hand, flirted with her enough and more, and helped your own grandmother cross the road almost every day for the past month in an attempt to impress her – and you did. You finally got your first date.

So, you flirted with your friend’s friend long enough, you hinted at him enough, and he finally asked you out.

You plan and plan and plan – you carefully decide on a place that is absolutely perfect, choose a dress that perfectly accentuates your eyes, buy flowers, chocolates, cards, practice blinking your eyelashes in front of the mirror, comb your hair perfectly and smooth your dress for the hundredth time while wondering about it right for that opportunity.

But there is a small problem – a problem that will render all this preparation worthless if not handled properly. How about a first date?

Most people, especially if they have prepared too much, or if they have waited a very long time, are almost speechless on the first date – because of this, all their efforts go down the drain faster than tears.

If you don’t want this to happen to you, remember these very important tips. We don’t promise you eternal love, but we can provide you with a second date.

First: to talk about another person. You already know, don’t you, that the most interesting subject for a man is himself? Well, put it to good use. Ask him/her questions about yourself; what they do, why they do what they do, do they like animals… and don’t just show interest, be interested.

Other: This is especially for guys – write this down and remember: pickup lines don’t work. Try using a sense of humor instead. Girls like funny, even wacky guys to some extent. Just try to be silly and sophisticated at the same time (it’s really easier than it sounds). And for girls: laugh at his jokes, but not at all of them. Even he doesn’t think he’s that funny.

the third: Be classy and smart, or at least sound classy and smart – brush up on the history of some rare wines, learn about good music (not including death metal) and learn how to pronounce ‘blancmange’. And find out what it is.

four: about compliments – don’t overdo it. It’s fine to comment on how beautiful she looks, but never say something like ‘nice dress’. It will look very nice next to my bed.’ Just stick to what you know. But give me a compliment, please. Compliment him on his choice of place, if he brought you flowers, tell him how much you like him, buy her flowers, smile a lot and end with a cheer – “I had a great time.”

That’s it. If you follow these tips, you can be sure that they will enjoy themselves, even if they don’t fall off their feet. The rest is up to you. Go on; enchant them with the wonder of what you are!

How Long Does It Take For A Flower To Bloom How to Design a Garden You Can Enjoy All Year

You are searching about How Long Does It Take For A Flower To Bloom, today we will share with you article about How Long Does It Take For A Flower To Bloom was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic How Long Does It Take For A Flower To Bloom is useful to you.

How to Design a Garden You Can Enjoy All Year

The key to enjoying your landscaping year-round isn’t sexy, exciting or secretive – it’s planning and design structure. To succeed in four-season landscape design, we’ll need to understand design, color, and form—and how the techniques apply to creating your home’s landscape. How design, color and form relate to our desired goal of enjoying your gardens all year round will depend on the stunning arrangement of our flowers, shrubs and trees to take advantage of their natural life cycle. The goal is to “arrange” our plants so that we have blooms in the spring, summer and as fall comes we will have colorful leaf changes and the transition to winter, we can rely on the shape or form of the plants to create something beautiful to look at while everything has either died or moved on into its dormant life stage.

Starting from spring, we can divide the season into two parts, plants that bloom in early and late spring. That way, when your early spring flowers and blooms begin to fall, your late spring plants will begin their ascent in full bloom. Because of this tiered approach, we’ll need to spread these plants throughout the design as we don’t want one section to pop out while the rest of your gardens sit still. If we don’t look at the big picture, we might get lucky and have things look beautiful naturally, but with proper foresight, we can take advantage of different life cycles to enjoy flowers for as long as possible without needing new plants as the season changes.

When the long days of summer come, we won’t see as many blooms as in the spring because this is the time to enjoy the literal fruits of our labor. Flower buds turn into fruit, and the trees are filled with deep green shades that we associate with summer holidays. Here we could have fruit trees or flowers and grasses that thrive in the high heat and the long days of high summer begin to show their good side.

As the days grow shorter and autumn begins to descend on our yards and gardens, we struggle to find more flowering plants; instead, we can focus on turning the leaves for our colorful focal point. Now we can rely on trees, ornamental grasses and shrubs as they are power players in terms of beauty that changes leaves. These plants will be our last stand on color we will see this season as we know winter is coming and we will finally see what I meant by “Shape” as mentioned earlier.

The leaves will fall and start to turn into a colorful mess, cluttering up our yards and gardens. The air is no longer filled with fragrant flowers, the smell of freshly cut grass or the hum of bumblebees toiling away the day. However, that doesn’t mean we’re at a loss, because we’ve got an ace in the hole – just as we’ve chosen flowering plants to shift the bloom cycle and our shrubs and trees for their beautiful, color-changing foliage. So we also planted several “sleeping” knockouts that begin to show their gifts only AFTER the leaves fall.

All we need to look at now are the actual shapes or “skeletons” of the bushes, trees and shrubs we planted back in the spring. Looking back at the part of the planning process where the goal was to see into the future and predict what the plants would look like in their barren state, from there using those plants as a focal point for the colder months. After the snow falls (if we’re lucky), we’ll be able to look around our yard and see the beautiful shapes the snow creates on our hibernating lawns, gardens, and patios.

Explain Why You Should Always Have A Cash Flow Plan. How To Prepare A Business Plan That Guarantees Big Profits

You are searching about Explain Why You Should Always Have A Cash Flow Plan., today we will share with you article about Explain Why You Should Always Have A Cash Flow Plan. was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic Explain Why You Should Always Have A Cash Flow Plan. is useful to you.

How To Prepare A Business Plan That Guarantees Big Profits

It is always said “If you Fail to Plan, you Plan to Fail”

Success in business comes as a result of planning. You have to have a detailed, written plan that shows what the ultimate goal is, the reason for the goal, and each milestone that must be passed in order to reach your goal.

A business plan is written definition of, and operational plan for achieving your goal. You need a complete but success tool in order to define your basic product, income objectives and specific operating procedures. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BUSINESS PLAN to attract investors, obtain financing and hold onto the confidence of your creditors, particularly in times of cash flow shortages–in this instance, the amount of money you have on hand compared with the expenses that must be met.

Aside from an overall directional policy for the production, sales effort and profit goals of your product–your basic “travel guide” to business success–the most important purpose your business plan will serve, will be the basis or foundation of any financial proposals you submit. Many entrepreneurs are under the mistaken impression that a business plan is the same as a financial proposal, or that a financial proposal constitutes a business plan. This is just a misunderstanding of the uses of these two separate and different business success aids.

The business plan is a long range “map” to guide your business to the goal you’ve set for it. The plan details the what, why, where, how and when, of your business–the success planning of your company.

Your financial proposal is a request for money based upon your business plan–your business history and objectives.

Understand the differences. They are closely related, but they are not interchangeable.

Writing and putting together a “winning” business plan takes study, research and time, so don’t try to do it all in just one or two days.

The easiest way to start with a loose leaf notebook, plenty of paper, pencils, pencil sharpener, and several erasers. Once you get your mind “in gear” and begin thinking about your business plan, “10,000 thoughts and ideas per minute” will begin racing through your mind…So, it’s a good idea when you aren’t actually working on your business plan, to carry a pocket notebook and jot down those business ideas as they come to you–ideas for sales promotion, recruiting distributors, and any other thoughts on how to operate and/or build your business.

Later, when you’re actually working on your business plan, you can take out this “idea notebook” evaluate your ideas, rework them, refine them, and integrate them into the overall “big picture” of your business plan.

The best business plans for even the smallest businesses run 25 to 30 pages or more, so you’ll need to “title” each page and arrange the different aspects of your business plan into “chapters.” The format should pretty much run as follows:

Title Page Statement of Purpose Table of Contents Business Description Market Analysis Competition Business Location Management Current Financial Records Explanation of Plans For Growth Projected Profit & Loss/Operating Figures Explanation of Financing for Growth Documentation Summary of Business & Outlook for The Future Listing of Business & personal References

This is a logical organization of the information every business plan should cover. I’ll explain each of these chapters titles in greater detail, but first, let me elaborate upon the reasons for proper organization of your business plan.

Having a set of “questions to answer” about your business forces you to take an objective and critical look at your ideas. Putting it all down on paper allows you to change, erase and refine everything to function in the manner of a smoothly oiled machine. You’ll be able to spot weakness and strengthen them before they develop into major problems. Overall, you’ll be developing an operating manual for your business–a valuable tool which will keep your business on track, and guide you in the profitable management of your business.

Because it’s your idea, and your business, it’s very important that YOU do the planning. This is YOUR business plan, so YOU develop it, and put it all down on paper just the way YOU want it to read. Seek out the advice of other people; talk with, listen to, and observe, other people running similar businesses; enlist the advice of your accountant and attorney–but at the bottom line, don’t ever forget it has to be YOUR BUSINESS PLAN!

Remember too, that statistics show the greatest causes of business failure to be poor management and lack of planning–without a plan by which to operate, no one can manage; and without a direction in which to aim its efforts, no business can attain any real success.

On the very first page, which is the title page, put down the name of your business-ABC ACTION–with your business address underneath. Now, skip a couple of lines, and write it all in capital letters: PRINCIPAL OWNER–followed by your name if you’re the principal owner. On your finished report, you would want to center this information on the page, with the words “principal owner” off-set to the left about five spaces.

Examples: ABC ACTION 1234 SW 5th Ave. Anywhere, USA 00000

PRINCIPAL OWNER: Your Name

That’s all you’ll have on this page except the page number -1-

Following your title page is the page for your statement purpose. This should be a simple statement of your primary business function, such as: We are a service business engaged in the business of selling business success manuals and other information by mail.

The title of the page should be in all capital letters across the top of the page, centered on your final draft–skip a few lines and write the statement of purpose. This should be direct, clear and short–never more than (2) sentences in length.

Then you should skip a few lines, and from the left hand margin of the paper, write out a sub-heading in all capital letters, such as: EXPLANATION OF PURPOSE.

From, and within this sub-heading you can briefly explain your statement of purpose, such as: Our surveys have found most entrepreneurs to be “sadly” lacking in basic information that will enable them to achieve success. This market is estimated at more than a 100 million persons, with at least half of these people actively “searching” for sources that provide the kind of information they want, and need.

With our business, advertising and publishing experience, it is our goal to capture at least half of this market of information seekers, with our publication. MONEY MAKING MAGIC! Our market research indicates we can achieve this goal and realize a profit of $1,000,000 per year within the next 5 years…

The above example is generally the way you should write your “explanation of purpose,” and in subtle definition, why you need an explanation. Point to remember: Keep it short. Very few business purpose explanations justify more than a half page long.

Next comes your table of contents page. Don’t really worry about this until you’ve got the entire plan completed and ready for final typing. It’s a good idea though, to list the subject (chapter titles) as I have, and then check off each one as you complete that part of your plan.

By having a list of the points you want to cover, you’ll also be able to skip around and work on each phase of your business plan as an idea or the interest in organizing that particular phase, stimulates you. In other words, you won’t have to make your thinking or your planning conform to the chronological order of the “chapters” of your business plan–another reason for the loose leaf notebook.

In describing your business, it’s best to begin where your statement purpose leaves off. Describe your product, the production process, who has responsibility for what, and most importantly, what makes your product or service unique–what gives it an edge in your market. You can briefly summarize your business beginnings, present position and potential for future success, as well.

Next, describe the buyers you’re trying to reach–why they need and want or will buy your product–and the results of any tests or surveys you may have conducted. Once you’ve defined your market, go on to explain how you intend to reach that market–how you’ll these prospects to your product or service and induce them to buy. You might want to break this chapter down into sections such as..publicity and promotions, advertising plans, direct sales force, and dealer/distributor programs. Each section would then be an outline of your plans and policies.

Moving into the next chapter on competition, identify who your competitors are–their weakness and strong points–explain how you intend to capitalize on those weaknesses and match or better the strong points. Talk to as many of your “indirect” competitors as possible–those operating in different cities and states.

One of the easiest ways of gathering a lot of useful information about your competitors is by developing a series of survey questions and sending these questionnaires out to each of them. Later on, you might want to compile the answers to these questionnaires into some form of directory or report on this type of business.

It’s also advisable to contact the trade associations and publications serving your proposed type of business. For information on trade associations and specific trade publications, visit your public library, and after explaining what you want ask for the librarian’s help.

The chapter on management should be an elaboration on the people operating the business. Those people that actually run the business, their job, titles, duties, responsibilities and background resume’s. It’s important that you “paint” a strong picture of your top management people because the people coming to work for you or investing in your business, will be “investing in these people” as much as your product ideas. Individual tenacity, mature judgement under fire, and innovative problem-solving have “won over” more people than all the AAA Credit Ratings and astronomical sales figures put together.

People becoming involved with any new venture want to know that the person in charge–the guy running the business knows what he’s doing, will not lose his cool when problems arise, and has what it takes to make money for all of them> After showing the “muscle” of this person, go on to outline the other key positions within your business; who the persons are you’ve selected to handle those jobs and the sources as well as availability of any help you might need.

If you’ve been in business of any kind scale, the next chapter is a picture of your financial status–a review of your operating costs and income from the business to date. Generally, this is a listing of your profit & loss statements for the six months, plus copies of your business income tax records for each of the previous three years the business has been an entity.

The chapter on the explanation of your plans for the future growth of your business is just that–an explanation of how you plan to keep your business growing–a detailed guide of what you’re going to do, and how you’re going to increase your profits. These plans should show your goals for the coming year, two years, and three years. By breaking your objectives down into annual milestones, your plan will be accepted as more realistic and be more understandable as a part of your ultimate success.

Following this explanation, you’ll need to itemize the projected cost and income figures of your three year plan. I’ll take a lot of research, an undoubtedly a good deal of erasing, but it’s very important that you list these figures based upon thorough investigation. You may have to adjust some of your plans downward, but once you’ve got these two chapters on paper, your whole business plan will fall into line and begin to make sense. You’ll have a precise “map” of where you’re headed, how much it’s going to cost, when you can expect to start making money, and how much.

Now that you know where you’re going, how much it’s going to cost and how long it’s going to be before you begin to recoup your investment, you’re ready to talk about how and where you’re going to get the money to finance your journey. Unless you’re independently wealthy, you’ll want to use this chapter to list the possibilities and alternatives. Make a list of friends you can approach, and perhaps induce to put up some money as silent partners. Make a list of those people you might be able to sell as stockholders in your company–in many cases you can sell up to $300,000 worth of stock on a “private issue” basis without filing papers with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Check with a corporate or tax attorney in your area for more details. Make a list of relatives and friends that might help you with an outright loan to furnish money for the development of your business.

Then search out and make a list of venture capital organizations. Visit the Small Business Administration office in your area–pick up the loan application papers they have–read them, study them, and even fill them out on a preliminary basis–and finally, check the costs, determine which business publications would be best to advertise in, if you were to advertise for a partner or investor, and write an ad you’d want to use if you did decide to advertise for monetary help.

With listing of all the options available to your needs, all that’s left is the arranging of these options in the order you would want to use them when the time come to ask for money. When you’re researching these money sources, you’ll save time by noting the “contact” deal with when you want money, and whenever possible, by developing a working relationship with these people.

If your documentation section, you should have a credit report on yourself. Use the Yellow Pages or check at the credit department in your bank for the nearest credit reporting office. When you get your credit report, look it over and take whatever steps are necessary to eliminate any negative comments. Once these have been taken care of, ask for a revised copy of your report and include a copy of that in your business plan.

If you own any patents or copyrights, include copies of these. Any licenses to use someone else’s patent or copyright should also be included. If you own the distribution, wholesale or exclusive sales rights to a product, include copies of this documentation. You should also include copies of any leases, special agreements or other legal papers that might be pertinent to your business.

In conclusion, write out a brief, overall summary of your business- when the business was started, the purpose of the business, what makes your business different, how you’re going to gain a profitable share of the market, and your expected success during the coming 5 years..

The last page of your business plan is a “courtesy page” listing the names, addresses and phone numbers of personal and business references–persons who have known you closely for the past five years or longer–and companies or firms you’ve had business or credit dealings with during the past five years.

And, that’s it–your complete business plan. Before you send it out for formal typing, read it over once a day for a week or ten days. Take care of any changes or corrections, and then have it reviewed by an attorney and then, an accountant. It would also be a good idea to have it reviewed by a business consultant serving the business community to which your business will be related. After these reviews, and any last-minute changes you want to make, I’ll be ready for formal typing.

Type and print the entire plan on ordinary white bond paper. Make sure you proof-read it against the original. Check for any corrections and typographical errors–then one more time–read it through for clarity and the perfection you want of it.

Now you’re ready to have it printed and published for whatever use you have planned for it–distribution amongst your partners or stockholders as the business plan for putting together a winning financial proposal, or as a business operating manual.

Take it to a quality printer in your area, and have three copies printed. Don’t settle for photo-copying..Have it printed!

Photo-copying leaves a slight film on the paper, and will detract from the overall professionalism of your business plan, when presented to someone you’re trying to impress. So, after going to all this work to put together properly, go all the way and have it duplicated properly.

Next, stop by a stationery store, variety store or even a dime store, and pick up an ordinary, inexpensive bind-in theme cover for each copy of your business plan. Have the holes punched in the pages of your business report to fit these binders and then slip each copy into a binder of its own.

Now, you can relax, take a break and feel good about yourself..You have a complete and detailed business plan with which to operate a successful business of your own. A plan you can use as a basis for any financing proposal you may want to submit..And a precise road-map for the attainment of real success…

You just complete one of the important steps to fulfill of all your dreams of success.

Each Of The Following Causes A Cash Flow Problem Except Plan for Survival: Treat the Causes, Not the Symptoms

You are searching about Each Of The Following Causes A Cash Flow Problem Except, today we will share with you article about Each Of The Following Causes A Cash Flow Problem Except was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Plan for Survival: Treat the Causes, Not the Symptoms

Entrepreneurs are a funny bunch. They always seem to enjoy working “on the edge”. Their motto seems to be “these days, if you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much space.” However, this does not mean that we can forever accept a “successful” management approach and ignore the constant advice of financial experts to plan, plan, plan and instead wait, wait, wait, until it is too late!

Neglecting the practice of preventive maintenance, some entrepreneurs wait for symptoms of a problem to appear and then react. Usually, they would wait until they got really sick to see a doctor based on the theory that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

In the business world, of course, we romantically refer to this approach as entrepreneurial spirit… a bankruptcy, a gut feeling. Don’t get me wrong; I firmly believe in those views. But they should be placed within the structure; a framework that exploits strengths and underpins business weaknesses by treating root causes, not symptoms.

One of the main causes of business failures is the lack of proper financial planning, which most of the time results in a serious cash flow problem. However, trying to solve cash flow problems without analyzing and treating the root causes is a worthless exercise and a futile attempt to treat the symptoms and ignore the causes.

So what are the root causes of cash flow gaps?

In addition to external factors beyond business control such as political, economic, environmental, social, technological and competitive factors, the main causes of cash flow problems are internal factors. Although businesses may not be able to control external factors, they can reduce the impact of these external factors with proper planning and preparation. Apart from the global economic crisis and the tightening of credit policies, the most significant external factors that have had a major impact on businesses in Australia are the recent floods, hurricanes and fires that have ravaged the country and caused many businesses to fail with huge numbers of businesses falling like autumn leaves.

Despite this, internal factors are completely under the control of the business and are the root cause of lack of cash flow for entrepreneurs. Some of these causes include but are not limited to the following:

1. Poor profitability: Mainly caused by lack of strategic planning, lack of clarity and focus, and lack of consistent and meaningful marketing strategies

2. Over capitalization: Entrepreneurs are risk averse and therefore may make investment or purchase decisions without proper research. Buying new office space or purchasing assets that do not generate reasonable returns can put the entire company in a cash flow bind.

3. Lack of financial planning: Unpreparedness for sudden business emergencies and unforeseen sales declines.

4. High level of indebtedness: Using other people’s money and excessive borrowing which leads to the company defaulting on loans etc.

5. Unplanned and uncontrolled growth: One of the catalysts for business failures, unplanned growth can stretch business resources and cause serious trauma to the entire operation. For example, if a business owner does not understand the relationship between average cost per unit or sales to the bottom line, he or she could over-trade and cause the business to foreclose. The reverse can also happen when the business is traded.

6. Poor control of debtors, creditors and inventory levels: Called the silent killers of cash flow, these three factors are the epicenter of business and any failure in one of them can cause severe ulcers in the entire body of the business.

7. Not putting away the taxman’s money: They say two things are clear in life: death and taxes, GST, payroll tax etc. including employee fringe benefits, work cover are all payments that have to be paid regardless. Again, some business owners take the liberty of withdrawing more cash from the business than the business generates, consequently taking supply away from the business.

8. Financial illiteracy of the entrepreneur: If the entrepreneur does not have financial literacy and does not make business decisions based on sound and regular financial statements and analysis, then the entire operation will be ineffective and will suffer sudden death due to cash flow measures.

9. No Internal Controls: A lack of business systems, procedures, policies and checklists is a recipe for disaster, especially when it comes to tracking overdue invoices, business expenses, KPI reports, business goals, etc., leading to a major misalignment between business goals and their missions.

I always say “doctors bury their mistakes, entrepreneurs bring out their entrepreneurial spirit” Having said that, early diagnosis by a good doctor can save people’s lives. Similarly, early diagnosis of the cause of cash flow can save your business and save you a trip to the hospital to treat an ulcer!

No longer relying on the profit and loss statement is enough for entrepreneurs to navigate their business through the current treacherous business environment. Ensuring a healthy business with a reliable source of cash flow through timely strategic financial planning, reporting and decision-making is paramount to the survival of today’s entrepreneurs and their businesses. This will certainly lead to early diagnosis of cash flow problems and will result in treating the cause rather than the symptoms.

Can You Smoke Wax Out Of A Bowl Without Flower Selecting The Right Candle Centre Piece For Your Wedding Venue

You are searching about Can You Smoke Wax Out Of A Bowl Without Flower, today we will share with you article about Can You Smoke Wax Out Of A Bowl Without Flower was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic Can You Smoke Wax Out Of A Bowl Without Flower is useful to you.

Selecting The Right Candle Centre Piece For Your Wedding Venue

A simple candle centerpiece can add a special finishing touch to a table setting. Beautify your wedding decor by choosing colors and scents that match the theme of your wedding. Whichever candles you choose, they will certainly add a special glow and atmosphere to your reception venue.

Centerpieces don’t have to be extravagant to make an impact, but there are a few tips that can make your choice easier.

1. Choose a centerpiece that won’t take up too much space on the table. It sounds obvious, but you don’t want to take up too much space on your desk.

2. Do not choose a height that will block your guests’ view of each other or interfere with conversation. Also consider the size of the venue when deciding on the center size of your tables. If the ceilings of the room are quite low, a very high center of the table will make it feel claustrophobic. Choose either something that is very high if the room has high ceilings or low if it does not.

3. If you use scented candles, stick to one scent or make sure the scents are compatible. You don’t want to overwhelm your guests.

4. Soy candles are a better choice because they do not produce smoke or soot. Unscented may be a better option if you are celebrating in a more intimate setting.

5. Floating candles in a bowl are another option for a low centerpiece. The water in the bowl can be colored to match or contrast with the color of the candle.

6. If using boxed candles, group similar designs in different sizes together for an interesting effect.

7. Surround your glassware with a garland of flowers or bead spray.

8. If you choose a cluster of candles, the color of the wax can be the same shade, for example, pale pink, pink, dark pink, red, etc.

9. Choose a setting that is proportional to the size of the table and the number of guests. A very tall centerpiece is suitable for spaces such as Rupertswood Mansion, which has a very high ceiling.

10. A set of 4 similar jars. Cluster of 9 similar jars separated by flowers

11. Spiral with different sizes of the same jar.

12. Use a mirror to reflect color and light from candle jars.

13. If you use a cluster, use them as a table centerpiece and then give them to your guests as wedding favors.

14. One of the most important issues to consider is the arrangement of your reception venue. Be sure to take the time to consider your options.

15. White is easy to match, but most rooms use bold colors like royal blue or deep red for carpets and curtains. Take the time to visit the site and think about your color scheme.

White candles are your obvious choice with flowers to match your theme, but if you want to be bold group your guests by type of flower. Choose a shade and flower for each table. Suggestion: Keep your candles unscented or choose one scent even if you switch colors. It’s easy with soy because the wax can be mixed in any number of shades. Arrange your guests according to your choice of flowers. For example:

about frangipani,

oh Rose,

oh lavender,

oh tulip

You got it and keep them in shades of the same color. Your florist can help you with seasonal flowers.

16. Bridal Shower Table Decorations: A longer centerpiece with two smaller ones on either side works well. They should not be too high, the guests would like to be able to see the bride and groom.

17. There are numerous benefits to choosing soy candles for your wedding. Without smoke and soot. Containers can be customized. The color of the wax can be coordinated with the theme of your wedding.
Fragrances can (in most cases) be coordinated with your wedding flowers. Long-lasting, so even the smallest candles will see you through the night. They are ecologically acceptable, and the wax is biodegradable.

Whatever you choose, soy wax candles are a great alternative to flowers or other types of candles.

A Small Body Of Water That Flows Across The Land Be Concerned, Be Very Concerned

You are searching about A Small Body Of Water That Flows Across The Land, today we will share with you article about A Small Body Of Water That Flows Across The Land was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic A Small Body Of Water That Flows Across The Land is useful to you.

Be Concerned, Be Very Concerned

In 1950, the US took 12 trillion gallons of water from the ground; by 1980 the figure had more than doubled and is still growing at an alarming rate. The Ogallala Aquifer is being depleted at a rate of 12 billion cubic meters (420 billion feet or 9,729,000 acre feet) per year, a total discharge to date of a volume equal to the annual flow of 18 Colorado rivers (4,000 cubic feet). per second).

Time magazine reported, “The Ogallala Aquifer is being drained! Some estimates say it will dry up in as little as 25 years. Many farmers in the Texas High Plains, who rely heavily on groundwater sources, are now turning away from irrigated agriculture as they become aware of the dangers of over-pumping.” The aquifer stretches from South Dakota through Nebraska, where two-thirds of the water is located, to Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. For the past three decades, farmers have pumped water from the Ogallala as if it were inexhaustible. that is not replenished is nearly equal to the flow of the Colorado River.A report by the engineering firm, Camp, Dresser and McKee, estimates that by the year 2020, about 5.1 million acres of irrigated land will dry up.

Today, the American Southwest is the most irrigated area in the world, turning the desert into a veritable Garden of Eden. However, this heavy irrigation can destroy the soil by leaching salts. The 1,400-mile-long Colorado River is the lifeblood of 11 million people from Denver to San Diego. In fact, today it irrigates 1.5 million hectares of prime agricultural land. This magnificent river is slowly being poisoned by salt build-up from saline western soil runoff and salt concentration, caused by evaporation and increased use of the river in the seven states it serves. The salt level has reached more than 800 milligrams per liter and is expected to reach 1200 m/l in the near future. The EPA’s maximum safe level for drinking water is 500 parts per million, more than 500 ppm is considered unsuitable for drinking. (This translates to a teaspoon of salt per gallon of water.) With groundwater sources depleting, less precipitation falls on land and more in the ocean, due to shifting air currents and global changes in weather patterns.

WHAT COULD BE WORSE?

As if the dwindling water supply wasn’t bad enough, we are now rapidly destroying what little water we have left with hazardous waste. Toxic chemicals at thousands of hazardous waste sites across the country continue to leak into the nation’s underground, contaminating the land and groundwater and poisoning the air. The U.S. General Accounting Office says the Super Fund program will need to clear more than 10,000 positions, which at this point seems like an insurmountable task. Six billion tons of solid and hazardous waste are generated in the United States each year. American industry releases 400 million pounds of toxins into our waterways each year, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A recent study predicts that, at the current pace, it will take between 30 and 35 years and $253 billion to clean up most of the nation’s known and newly discovered toxic waste sites. The EPA predicts that it will need to remediate at least 294,000 hazardous waste sites – and that number could reach as many as 355,000.

PROTECTIVE ACCESS?

EPA in implementing the Safe Drinking Water Act has failed to establish national primary drinking water regulations for organic chemicals. Since 1975, the EPA has issued only a very short list of maximum contaminant levels (MCls). The list includes several pesticides and herbicides, a small number of inorganic chemicals, a standard for coliform bacteria, turbidity, radionuclides, and since 1979, trihalomethanes. A total of 130 priority pollutants.

The staggering facts are that there are currently more than 100,000 chemicals released into our environment, with approximately 1,000 additional chemicals added each year. Yet the EPA only tests about three percent of them. In short, municipal water utilities are required to test for levels of only 130 or so chemicals when there could be hundreds or even thousands of chemicals present in some parts per million or billion that could be potentially dangerous to humans. How many complex chemical combinations are possible with a list of 100,000 individual chemicals?

Here’s an example of how terrifying the answer could be. Water companies add chlorine to water as a much-needed disinfectant to kill viruses and numerous water-born bacteria. Most city water contains a certain degree of humic acid created by the decomposition of plant and animal matter. In addition to chlorine being a known carcinogen, when chlorine comes into contact with humic acid, four other individual carcinogens called trihalomethanes (THMs) are produced. Combine just two and you get four! Now imagine the possibilities of mixing 10 grand into your drinking water.

Water is the single most important element for sustaining life, second only to oxygen. We can live 40 days without food, but only about 6 days without water. Water serves three main purposes in our bodies. 1. Controls body temperature; 2. It carries nutrients from the food we eat to every cell of our body; and 3. Water replaces bodily fluids such as blood plasma, lymph, digestive juices, bile, etc. It washes and bathes every cell of the body, washing away and carrying away wastes and toxic poisons. If water is so important to our health and survival, shouldn’t we be drinking the healthiest water possible? What would that be, you ask? Distilled water.

Which Is True Of Air Flowing Into Low Pressure Center Undersized Geothermal Ground Loops (Short Looped)

You are searching about Which Is True Of Air Flowing Into Low Pressure Center, today we will share with you article about Which Is True Of Air Flowing Into Low Pressure Center was compiled and edited by our team from many sources on the internet. Hope this article on the topic Which Is True Of Air Flowing Into Low Pressure Center is useful to you.

Undersized Geothermal Ground Loops (Short Looped)

Ground source heat pumps require heat exchange with the ground, which has sufficient capacity to withstand the seasonal loads to which it will be exposed. With a closed loop system, the heat exchanger is embedded in the ground and will only affect the area in which it is embedded. If the rate of heat exchange with the ground is too low for the system requirements, the heat pump will have reduced efficiency and capacity or may reach a point where it will not work at all.

If a geothermal heat pump system cannot operate as designed due to a lower than acceptable inlet water temperature, this is most often due to a short loop situation. The heat pump may be locking up at low pressure or may actually freeze the heat transfer fluid inside the ground coil inside the heat pump.
Short loops are not always short loops because it is not always a matter of lack of pipes in the country. There could be other problems giving us short circuit symptoms.

The problem is the reduced ability to exchange heat. This could be if the loop lengths are too short. It is possible that the loop field is too dense. It is possible that the loop in the distributor is bent or crushed. It is possible that the pipe is not installed or sealed properly and there are air holes surrounding the pipe. If the system is not properly purged of air, there may be an air bubble in one of the loops preventing flow through it. The flow centers or pump system may not be pumping fluid through the loops fast enough to create the turbulent flow needed to get full capacity out of the system.

The best way to avoid an improperly sized or constructed ground loop is to make sure your installer has experience.

Do your own homework on these systems and if something in your installation raises concerns, say so. Ask a question in the forums and get multiple opinions from experienced experts from all over the country. The ground loop is the most critical part of the system and it is very difficult to change things with it in the future.
