Extensive scientific research has shown that healthy people have consistent alkaline levels.
Acidosis or alkalosis?
The human body is made up of 70% water and in its attempt to balance positive ions (acidic) and negative ions (alkaline) is compromised by poor diet and lack of exercise, which creates problems that can go unnoticed for years.
In general, when the acid level in our body is higher than low on average, it can have a negative effect on our health and immune system.
if it is consistently high, then it can lead to a condition known as acidosis which can be a serious and life-threatening condition.

Depending on how serious you are about your health and wellness, monitoring your pH balance will determine what steps to take if your body becomes too acidic.
One very simple way is to test your urine as soon as you wake up, which is generally accepted as the most accurate simply because you haven’t eaten any food and therefore cannot affect the test.
This is done using the pH strips you would sample with.
So what is the solution to control the acidity level of our body?
We can control the pH level in 2 ways:
1… Exercise regularly, but be alert consistent.
Try going for a walk after lunch instead of staying in the office, or take a walk after your evening meal.
Make subtle changes, but stay consistent.
2… Consider changing or replacing some of the foods you eat with the following:

Vegetables: Asparagus, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, eggplant, fermented vegetables, garlic, lettuce, mushrooms, onions, parsnips, peppers, pumpkin, turnips, peas, spinach, sweet potatoes, watercress, wild Greens.
Fruit: All berries, apples, apricots, avocados, bananas, cantaloupe, cherries, currants, dates, figs, grapefruit, grapes, kiwi, lemon, lime, mango, cantaloupe, nectarines, oranges, papaya, peaches, pears, pineapples, raisins, tangerines, tomato, watermelon.
Proteins: Almonds, chestnuts, cottage cheese, eggs, flax seeds, hemp seeds, millet, pumpkin seeds, sprouted seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, yogurt.
You will also need to research acidifying foods as a precaution and should balance your meals at about 70 – 75% acidifying and 25 – 30% acidifying to boost your immune system.
